The flood gates have opened and for the next few months we will see adverts galore for every concievable Christmas or Christmas themed product.
It is the way of things, for the most lucritive time of the year, so everyone wants a slice of the pie……..(mince!)

SEO on site, on-page, should be done a few months ago and those products to push, optimised on the site and ready to push as round the year.
SEM – search engine marketing and key, closely tieing in offline promotion if you have it, to get the message out to everyone.
Existing customer bases will need to be informed off great Xmas offers coming up via email campaigns, banner adverts(prominant paid links) worked on focused websites(same topic as your offerings)
Social media to raise awareness and emphusiasm for the products.
The offering for Xmas come first, then the ways to push them. Most of this will be getting creative online, for how people will choose you over a competitor or be pulled in with your offer.
If you are starting now with your Xmas campaign or lets say planning it now, you will have some catchup and will have to rely more on SEM to get in the sales – banners, social, 3rd party site content.
